We undertake baseline surveys usually at the beginning of a project to establish the current status of a population before a project is rolled out. On the other hand, it is done after a decision to implement a project has been made. Also baseline surveys are done to act as a benchmark for measuring project success or failure.

“Baseline survey a descriptive cross-sectional survey that mostly provides quantitative information on the current status of a particular situation – on whatever study topic – in a given population. It aims at quantifying the distribution of certain variables in a study population at one point in time.

We do pilot study, unlike a baseline study which attempts to establish whether it is feasible or worthwhile to undertake a project. In which case, pilot studies are undertaken so as to establish or verify a project idea. In other words, pilot studies are conducted to identify project ideas and to identify the possible implementing errors and viability.

Nearly our team has foot print across 400 villages and towns across Tamilnadu and surveyed various focus groups like women, children, youth and affected people due to infra-structure projects.

The Manpower potential survey was carried out in Kanchipuram, Chennai, Thiruvallur and Thiruvannamalai districts to assess and understand the employment status of the people and to understand the manpower potential of the same. The study was carried out for a Garments company in Uthiramerur to assess the manpower for the company from the radius of 50 Km and the characteristics of the employable masses and employability skills in the district.

The organization always follow the basic principles of community development practices which aims at creating a discontentment in the community there by promoting the socio economic condition of the people which will lead to National development. We work for various communities rural, urban, student, women and children, coastal, tribal and indigenous communities.

BCS has a strong ethic in business to promote and safeguard women and their rights. This principle is envisaged in all sphere of our work. Thus we have been engaged as a sexual harassment committee member in several organizations.

BCS has worked for various developmental projects right form the feasibility stage to completion stage, which enabled them to become a best monitoring and evaluation agents for scrutinizing various works of Government.
