Business Head / Social Development Specialist
Dr.Vijaya Venkatesh, Founder Member & Managing Director at Bloom Consulting Services Graduated in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Sri Meenakshi Government College for Women, Madurai and completed her Post Graduation degree in Social Work Specializing in Community Development from the reputed institute Madurai Institute of Social Sciences. Further she pursued her Post graduate degree in Master in Town and Country Planning from School of Planning and Architecture from Anna University, Chennai. She added feather to her crown by passing out as a University Topper from Anna University.
She has been awarded Doctorate in Social Work by Common Wealth Vocational University for her 25 years of Excellence in the filed of Social Development Projects..
Her drive towards Human resources made her to pursue Post graduate diploma in Labour Laws and Administrative Laws. During her professional career she understood the need for acquiring knowledge in Projects Management and she also qualified the same with Masters in Business Administration in Project Management.
Thereafter, Vijaya Venkatesh began her working career as a Freelance Consultant with one of the aspiring research organisation BIRDS, where she had been given a great role to explore research assignments followed by the leading market research company AIMS Research (P) Ltd as a Social Development Professional, later joined as HR Manager for GM Infotech (P) Ltd ( a unit of GM Pens India Ltd., (REYNOLDS Pen Co)). There she learned the skill in handling Team and to get the best of the Team through employees engagement.
Since 1998, she had served for various organisations like Development Management Trust, Scope India Trust, Community Consulting India, Gemba Management Trust and SMEC International India (P) Ltd and so on. Later her commitment in career provided avenues to work as Key professionals in various privileged assignments on: Resettlement and Rehabilitation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Urban Development, Strategic Business Planning, Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Impact Assessment, Participatory Rural Appraisal, Disaster Management, Women Development, Social Auditing, Skill Assessment and Personality Trait Assessments and Training and Development. This enabled her to succeed with leading international and national companies, multi-lateral funding projects, Government, NGOs, and Media, thus acquainting her with all the nuance of businesses and value dynamics.
Bloom came into existence from April 2014, after great support from family, friends and colleagues. She believe that BCS growth surely attempts at growth of the client, projects and to support the vulnerable masses through community development.
As a special interest she loves teaching young aspiring students, hence she also serves as visiting faculty for various social work schools, Business schools and universities. She is passionate to be a Trainer and still conducts Employability Skill workshop for the Students in remote pockets of Tamilnadu. At the personal front she would like to put forth her creativity in sketching and drawing. She is a fun loving person and always keeps others with smiley.
